2024 Grassroots Student Station Coach Position
PLEASE NOTE: Students must choose ONE of the following:
Paid by Honorarium
Volunteer Duke Hours & Volunteer Bursary Hours
Grassroots Parent Volunteer Coach and Parent Volunteer Helper.
Both positions need Criminal Record Check.
A HELPER accompanies a group of players during the practice and assists in making sure players are respectful to each other, play safely, listen and follow instructions. No soccer knowledge required.
A COACH leads the players in soccer activities and instruction to help improve players. You could be working with a paid student coach and or Grassroots Lead. Knowledge of soccer and coaching would be helpful.

We know parents are extremely busy. There is no timeline to get certifications, but we would appreciate an effort to try and complete two online courses, Respect in Sport and Making Headway in the early part of the season. The club will reimburse you for all certification costs once they are complete.
Brittney Foster, our Grassroots TD along with her Grassroots Leads will put on a Coaches clinic for all volunteers coaches and helper. This will be at a later date.
